Vickee Harding began her career with CENTURY 21 Bradley Realty, Inc. in 1981 in a support staff role, however, quickly gained her real estate sales license and subsequently her brokers license. When the opportunity arose to take over the relocation department, Vickee did not hesitate. She not only took over the department, but reorganized the program, implemented it into a new software program and added Corporate Relocation into the business She began training agents to handle this type of business, earning designations and awards in achievement for the company along the way. Vickee has now moved into management, training and coaching our sales agents, providing training classes as well as one on one coaching and mentoring. In addition to managing and training, Vickee is the host of our local TV show, Home Connection and provides all of our voice over for the show scripts. CENTURY 21 Bradley Realty, Inc. uses the TV show not only as a way to assist our buyers and sellers, but as a marketing tool for our agents by having an agent co-host each show. Vickee’s longevity with the company is a testament to her enthusiasm for the business and her passion for helping the agents reach their goals.
Doreen Van Ooyen
Doreen Van Ooyen is the Operations & Relocation Director for CENTURY 21 Bradley Realty, Inc.
She currently has the responsibility for all the operational and relocation related functions. She has developed and implemented most aspects of the internal operation of the company. Her nick name is the “task master,” due to her analytical thinking, project management and organizational skills. She is very dependent upon by everyone.
Doreen worked for NAVL for ten years prior to joining CENTURY 21 Bradley Realty, Inc. in November 1997. She and her husband have two boys and reside in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Gina T. Wagner is the Business Relations and Recruiting Director for CENTURY 21 Bradley Realty, Inc. She is our sales agents number one advocate and works diligently to make sure their careers flourish and they have a little fun along the way. She hosts several unique gatherings annually to promote learning, teamwork and growth. She established agent on boarding processes that have been adopted by other Century 21 offices. She has created the LeaderSHIFT program to promote agent talent. She is often called Ms. Resourceful because she takes charge to get things done, on time and on budget. Gina worked for Ameritech in Chicago for 11 years in Human Resources prior to joining CENTURY 21 Bradley Realty, Inc. in 1998.

In physics, the amount of momentum something has is dependent upon two variables: How much is moving and how fast it moves. At CENTURY 21 Bradley Realty, Inc., that rule also applies to real estate. We have been in perpetual motion ever since its creation as Bradley Realty in 1977.
“In 1977, I purchased the very first real estate franchise in northern Indiana and we became CENTURY 21 Bradley Realty, Inc.,” recalls Jim Bradley, owner and president of the firm. “Our first full year, we did about $12 million in sales and every year since - every single year, nonstop - we have grown our business. This year (2015) we are on pace to do $400 million.
Jim Bradley persevered even during tough economic times. “In 1980, 1981 and 1982, there was a real downturn in the economy,” he remembers. “Interest rates were in the pre-teens. Anyone who was around during those years will tell you: It was tough! Yet we increased our business 62 percent in those days. It was a turning point for us and we moved forward."
In 1992, Jim Bradley basically rebuilt the company. “We totally retooled it,” he remarks. “That’s when we got automated attendant - we were fortunate to get that technology at the time. We also went to 12 hour days, 7 days a week: 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday and 8:30am-5pm on Saturdays and even 12-4pm on Sundays. This was instead of the usual five day work week 8am-5pm. We just did a lot of innovative things that got our business going while maintaining our continuity. By 1991, we got up to $38 million in sales. By 1994, we were among Century 21’s top 10 in the country and, every year since, we’ve been in the top 10 for units closed for one single office. In 2011, we basically rebuilt the company for the 2nd time in our history. This moved us to our new world class media center/office and studio located at Dupont Rd and I-69. Our grand opening, in 2011, attracted over 1200 visitors and we continue to have out of town visitors each year.
In 1997, to increase market exposure for clients, Bradley and company Vice President-Vickee Harding started co-hosting a local weekly TV show “Home Connection”, featuring videos of the firm’s current listing. “Our customers deserve top quality service and the show is just one way we can provide that for them,” says Bradley. “Initially, it was unprecedented in Ft. Wayne and a huge turning point for us. Today it’s all technology, training , and social media!
Now airing on ABC at 10:30am Sundays, the “Home Connection” also drives potential clients to the firm’s website as well. “It’s amazing the number of hits we’ve gotten on our website, primarily because of the show,” says Bradley. “The way it’s all grown together is just beyond our wildest dreams. I love to think about the fact that this real estate company has grown from $0 in sales to $6 billion in cumulative sales by 2015! That’s what I call momentum!”
